Lydia attended her first TeenPact State Class when the program first came to her home state of Virginia in 1998. She resonated with the mission of TeenPact and quickly dove into the TeenPact Alumni culture as a Student (1998-2000), Traveling Staffer (1999-2002), Intern (2001) and State Coordinator (2000-2001). Lydia went on to work for various non-profits and in the communication office of a U.S. Senator, but eventually was hired to work full-time for TeenPact in 2005. Over the course of her tenure at the national office, Lydia worked to establish infrastructure and stabilize the vision of the organization until she retired from TeenPact in 2013.
Apparently not able to completely move on from TeenPact, Lydia is honored to serve as an Alumni Board Advisor because she still believes in equipping people for both personal and professional excellence. She regularly connects with TeenPact alumni of all walks of life who continue to prove that young people are capable of being great leaders and doing great things.
Lydia currently lives in Georgia and works for a leadership consulting company. She is an active member of her community and an eager supporter of interesting cuisine, arts and culture.
