Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Betsy was a One Day State Class Student in 2003 who came back as a Four Day Student and went on to Travel Staff ('08, '09), State Coordinate ('09, '10), staff National Convention ('11, '13), intern at the TeenPact Office ('13), and now leads the Alumni Association as an Alumni Board Member. She moved to the D.C. area to pursue a B.A. in Journalism from Patrick Henry College followed by a M.A in Human Services Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She is bi-vocational, working as the Vice President of Growth at Living Matters Group (a top real estate company in DC), developing a business program for mental health professionals, house church planting with her husband, and raising their little boy. You can always find her developing something, pursuing discipleship, and building community wherever she goes. As a Board Member, Betsy is passionate about building culture, fostering organizational heath, bringing people together, and helping facilitate beneficial connection and collaboration. She can’t wait to see where the Alumni community will take the Alumni Association to the next level! Betsy lives with her husband and newborn in the DC area.
